Caribbean Sea Moss & Pumpkin Soup
A warming Caribbean-style soup with sea moss added at the end for texture and minerals.

Blender or stick blender
- 2 tbsp sea moss gel
- 400 g pumpkin or butternut squash, peeled and diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 750 ml vegetable stock
- Black pepper
Gently sauté onion, garlic, thyme, and spring onion until softened.
Add pumpkin and stock; simmer for 20–25 minutes until tender.
Blend until smooth.
Stir in sea moss gel and warm gently for 2–3 minutes. (do not boil).
Season with black pepper to your taste and serve.
